51 Skills, operated by M/S Techverse51, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, when we may share it, how long we may retain it, and the choices available to you.

This Policy applies to users of the current 51 Skills website and platform, including students, instructors, instructor applicants, and visitors who provide information to us.

It does not apply to independent third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by 51 Skills. Those services may have their own privacy policies.

We collect information reasonably necessary to operate the current platform, provide learning services, onboard and support instructors, process payments, maintain security, prevent fraud, maintain business records, and comply with applicable law.

Payments on the current 51 Skills platform are processed through Safepay, the third-party payment gateway integrated for transactions. 51 Skills may receive transaction information such as transaction reference, amount, payment status, purchase history, and information required to reconcile payments, provide course access, process refunds, and resolve payment disputes.

Payment information entered into Safepay is processed through Safepay's systems and is subject to Safepay's own terms and privacy practices. 51 Skills does not intentionally store complete debit/credit card numbers or card security codes on its own servers.

• Create, authenticate, maintain and secure user accounts.
• Provide course access, streaming, learning progress, assessments and certificates.
• Onboard, verify and support instructors.
• Process course purchases, enrollments, instructor payouts and refunds through applicable payment services.
• Provide customer and technical support.
• Prevent fraud, unauthorized access, payment abuse and other misuse.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and improve the platform and its security.
• Send service-related communications and, where permitted, promotional communications with available opt-out controls.
• Maintain appropriate business, transaction and financial records.
• Comply with applicable Pakistani laws, lawful requests, payment-provider requirements and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information when reasonably necessary with:

• Safepay and other payment or financial service providers actually used by 51 Skills for payment processing.
• Hosting, infrastructure, security, analytics, communication and technical service providers supporting the current platform.
• Internal authorized personnel who need access to perform their responsibilities.
• Instructors or other users only where information is intended to be visible or shared as part of a platform feature.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors or compliance advisers where reasonably necessary and subject to appropriate confidentiality.
• Government, regulatory, law-enforcement or judicial authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law or lawful process.

We limit third-party access to information reasonably necessary for the relevant service or lawful purpose and expect applicable service providers to maintain appropriate safeguards.

51 Skills may use cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, support security, understand platform usage, and improve performance. You may manage cookies through your browser settings. Where non-essential cookies require consent under applicable requirements, 51 Skills will provide an appropriate consent or preference mechanism.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including account operation, course delivery, payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, dispute handling, certificates, security, legal and regulatory compliance, and legitimate record-keeping obligations.

Different categories may be retained for different periods. Where a specific retention period is required by applicable law, tax, accounting, payment, dispute, or security obligations, that requirement will apply. When information is no longer reasonably required, we will take appropriate steps to delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

Users may request account deletion through the official support/privacy channel, subject to information we are required or permitted to retain.

We use reasonable technical, administrative and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure or loss. We may monitor suspicious activity, verify instructor identities, investigate suspected fraud or unauthorized access, and restrict accounts that present a security or payment risk.

If we become aware of a material security incident affecting personal information, we will take reasonable steps to contain it, investigate it, and make notifications to affected users or authorities where required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to protect users.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and should promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

51 Skills operates from Pakistan. Some technology or service providers supporting the platform may process information outside Pakistan. Where this occurs, 51 Skills will take reasonable steps to ensure that the processing is subject to appropriate contractual, security, and legal safeguards and is consistent with applicable Pakistani requirements.

• Request access to personal information held about you, subject to applicable law.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your account or personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
• Manage available communication and marketing preferences.
• Raise a privacy complaint or question through the designated privacy/support contact.

We may reasonably verify your identity before fulfilling a privacy request. We will respond within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

51 Skills is intended for students of different educational levels. Users under 18 may use the platform where permitted by applicable law and, where required, with the involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Instructors must meet the applicable age requirements for instructor accounts.

If 51 Skills becomes aware that personal information has been collected or used in a manner that does not comply with applicable requirements, we will take reasonable steps to address the situation.

51 Skills operates in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This includes requirements relevant to electronic transactions, online safety and cyber misuse, consumer protection, intellectual property, payment processing, taxation, and lawful government or regulatory requests, to the extent applicable to our services.

Users must provide information lawfully and must not use 51 Skills to commit fraud, impersonate another person, obtain unauthorized access, misuse payment systems, infringe intellectual property, harass others, or otherwise engage in unlawful conduct. Where legally permitted or required, 51 Skills may preserve information, restrict access, remove content, cooperate with authorities, or take other lawful measures.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, data practices, or applicable legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on the website with a revised 'Last Updated' date. Where a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice through the platform, email, or another appropriate communication method.
