Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ('Terms') form an agreement between you and M/S Techverse51 operating the 51 Skills platform. By creating an account, purchasing a course, publishing a course, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Electronic acceptance may be used as evidence of your agreement, subject to applicable law.

• Users must provide accurate, complete and current information.
• Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials.
• Users must not impersonate another person or create an account using false identity information.
• Instructors must provide the information required for verification and payout processing.
• Instructors must be at least 18 years old and meet the platform's onboarding requirements.
• Users must promptly report suspected unauthorized access or account compromise.

• Students may access courses they have legitimately purchased or otherwise been authorized to access.
• Course access is for the student's personal learning use unless 51 Skills expressly provides another license.
• Students may not share paid account credentials, record and redistribute course videos, copy or resell course materials, or provide unauthorized access to others.
• Course access may depend on successful payment and the access period stated for the relevant course.
• Completing a course does not guarantee a particular examination result, job, income, promotion, or other career outcome.

• Instructors must provide accurate onboarding, identity and payout information.
• Instructors must have the necessary rights to create and publish their course content.
• Course content must be lawful, substantially accurate, and not knowingly infringe third-party rights.
• Instructors must not make materially false or misleading claims about qualifications, certifications, course outcomes, or professional expertise.
• Instructors must comply with applicable platform standards and Pakistani law.
• 51 Skills may review, restrict, suspend or remove content that violates these Terms, applicable law, intellectual property rights, or reasonable quality requirements.

• An Instructor who wishes to discontinue or remove a Course, or terminate the Instructor relationship with 51 Skills, must provide at least three (3) months' prior written notice to 51 Skills, subject to the Instructor Agreement and applicable law.
• After notice is given, 51 Skills may close the Course to new enrollments. The Instructor may not delete, disable, withdraw, or otherwise make the Course unavailable to Students who enrolled and paid before enrollment was closed.
• The Course and necessary learning materials must remain available to each such Student until that Student's stated course-access period expires. Where the Course provides three (3) months of access, the Course must remain available for three (3) months from the enrollment date of the last eligible paid Student, even if that date extends beyond the Instructor's notice period.
• The Instructor's obligation is tied to the Student's purchased access period, not to whether the Student actually completes all Course content.

• Payments for current paid courses are processed through the payment provider presented at checkout, including Safepay where enabled.
• Users must use a payment method they are authorized to use.
• Users must not use stolen payment credentials, submit false payment information, manipulate payment confirmations, or abuse chargeback/refund processes.
• Prices shown at checkout are the applicable purchase price for that transaction, including any disclosed applicable taxes or charges.
• Price changes do not affect transactions already completed.
• Where a transaction fails, is reversed, disputed, or identified as fraudulent, course access may be suspended or withheld while the matter is reviewed.

Users must not:

• Use the platform for fraudulent, deceptive, unlawful or abusive activity.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the platform, another user's account, or any connected system.
• Upload or transmit malware, malicious code, or material designed to disrupt platform operations.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, or unlawfully target another person.
• Upload, publish or distribute content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
• Copy, scrape, record, reproduce, resell or redistribute platform or paid course content without authorization.
• Manipulate payments, refunds, reviews, certificates, course completion records, or other platform processes.
• Circumvent technical measures used to protect the platform or its content.

Conduct that may violate applicable Pakistani cybercrime, intellectual property, consumer, payment or other laws may be reported to the appropriate authority where legally required or appropriate.

51 Skills is a product and brand operated by M/S Techverse51. The 51 Skills name and registered trademark, together with its branding, website interface, platform software, platform-created materials, visual assets, and other proprietary platform materials, are protected and are owned by or licensed to M/S Techverse51 and/or the rights holder identified in the applicable registration records. Users receive no ownership rights in those materials.

Instructors retain ownership of original course content they create, subject to the license granted to 51 Skills in the Ownership Statement and any Instructor Agreement.

Students receive limited personal access to purchased educational content. Course access does not transfer ownership of the course or its underlying intellectual property.

If you believe content on 51 Skills infringes your copyright, submit a written notice to support@51skills.com containing:

• Your name and contact information.
• Identification of the copyrighted work.
• Identification and location of the material alleged to infringe.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
• A statement that the information supplied is accurate.

51 Skills will review valid notices and may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content while the matter is investigated. Repeat or serious infringement may result in account restriction or termination, subject to applicable law.

51 Skills may suspend, restrict or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that the user has violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or unlawful conduct, created a security or payment risk, provided materially false information, or where action is required by a court, regulator, payment provider, or lawful authority. Such action will be taken in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including those applicable in Pakistan.

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. 51 Skills is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including significant internet or power outages, natural disasters, government actions, regulatory orders, security incidents, or failures of third-party services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Pakistani law, the platform is provided on an 'as available' basis. 51 Skills does not guarantee that every course will meet a student's specific needs or result in a particular academic, professional, employment, or financial outcome.

Course content and instructor representations remain the responsibility of the relevant instructor, subject to 51 Skills' review and platform standards.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, 51 Skills will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from a user's unlawful or unauthorized conduct. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Users should first submit complaints or disputes to support@51skills.com with sufficient details for review. 51 Skills will aim to acknowledge and resolve complaints through its support process within a reasonable period.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be referred to the dispute-resolution process provided under these Terms and applicable Pakistani law. Where arbitration is agreed or legally applicable, the parties may refer the matter to arbitration in Karachi, Sindh, under applicable Pakistani arbitration law. Nothing prevents a party from seeking urgent relief from a competent court where legally available.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Subject to any applicable dispute-resolution process, proceedings may be brought before the competent courts in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

We may update these Terms when the platform, business practices, or applicable legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, email, or another reasonable notice method. The revised version will display its effective or last-updated date.

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to the extent permitted by applicable law. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Ownership Statement and any applicable Instructor Agreement, form the principal terms governing use of the current platform.
